:: About This Blog

The id10t virus was one of the first viruses ever created. Before the internet was even brought upon the world, it was spawned from user-to-user contact and born into a dormant state. But, when the user activates an interface with his computer, the virus is transmitted, and infects every bit of data available. Upon internet connection, bits and pieces of the self-regenerating virus are left behind, the user totally and completely unaware that he's spreading a destructive virus with every click of his mouse and tap of his keyboard... That is the purpose of this site. Our main goal is to inform the public of the existence, danger, and eradication of the id10t virus.

You have just been e-mooned!  Send this to 5 people
within  the  next  hour  and  you will be blessed with people laughing at
your e-mail.

This is NOT a chain letter, so if you don't mail it
out,  you  won't have bad luck. (But who wouldn't want to e-Moon a friend?)

Happy e-mooning!!!

I recieved this e-mail many years ago, but never realized its significance until I started to look into id10t. As you can see, it's an obvious transfer system, and if you get an e-mail such as this, be sure to destroy it as soon as you can!

:: id10t In The Marketplace (DarkElf) Posted 9/28/2003 12:24:24 AM

On a Sear's hairdryer:
"Do not use while sleeping."
Gee that's the only time I have to work on my hair.

On a bag of Fritos:
"You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside."
The shoplifter special

On a bar of Dial soap:
"Directions: Use like regular soap."
And that would be how...?

On some Swanson frozen dinners:
"Serving suggestion: Defrost."
But its "just" a suggestion

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom):
"Do not turn upside down."
Too late!

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding:
"Product will be hot after heating."
Duh . . .

On packaging for a Rowenta iron:
"Do not iron clothes on body."
But wouldn't this save me more time?

On Boot's Children Cough Medicine:
"Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication."
We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we could just get those 5-year-olds with head-colds off those forklifts.

On Nytol Sleep Aid:
"Warning: May cause drowsiness."
One would hope.

On most brands of Christmas lights:
"For indoor or outdoor use only."
As opposed to where?

On a Japanese food processor:
"Not to be used for the other use."
I gotta admit, I'm curious.

On Sainsbury's peanuts:
"Warning: contains nuts."
Talk about a news flash.

On an American Airlines packet of nuts:
"Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts."
Fly Delta.

On a child's superman costume:
"Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly."
I don't blame the company. I blame parents for this one.

On a Swedish chainsaw:
"Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals."
Was there a lot of this happening in Sweden?

As you can see, the spread of the id10t virus can't be stopped. It's infected
everything from barcode scanners to printing equipment to label printers.
The sooner we eradicate the id10t, the better.
